Sachin Sadare
Dear Friends,
‘Quality talent’ is among the most pressing issues for companies worldwide. The knowledge, the solutions and the business models may all be in place but getting the right people to convert the idea into implementation still remains a big challenge for any industry.
The biggest pain I endure as an educator is – There are so many opportunities in digital, yet many of the opportunities go waste. Many positions remain vacant for lack of the right candidate with the right digital skills.
Another challenge faced by the industry today, is the overemphasis on the skills acquired by candidates. Skills are highly over-rated on their resumes, creating valid doubts in the minds of firms. There is no assurance of the digital skills acquired by the candidate.
Getting the candidate with the right digital skills remains the biggest hurdle for the growth of corporate world.
Gone are the days when a professional degree course could get you a job. Or make you ready for some employment. These days the courses, including engineering or medicine or marketing or finance, are not yet ready to provide meaningful educational value. In most cases, it is a mere formality to get oneself educated. Real education is what gives us a character to face the future and to use it for the betterment – of individuals, the society, the country and ultimately humanity. Unfortunately, the gap between what is required to achieve it and what is being imparted to students in the colleges is ever increasing. And it does not seem that this gap will close out in the near future.
We need a well-rounded ecosystem to bridge the industry-academia gap successfully.
Digital education is the way forward and digital learning platforms are the tools to equip ourselves with meaningful education and knowledge. Globally the hybrid online education model has already picked up. Everyone is learning from everyone. Our passion and our skills are transferable.
At Digital Dojo, through DDLP – our online digital learning platform, we ensure the digital skills & knowledge are imparted in a meaningful way. We take our online certification process very seriously. Participants have to clear our comprehensive exams and evaluation criteria to get a certificate issued from us. I believe that DDLP and Digital Dojo are moving in the right direction we wanted, since inception.
The ability to share niche skills and expert knowledge with a vast amount of people is what makes digital learning a great asset for human education.
Yours Sincerely,
Sachin Sadare.
